Russian Missile Attack Ruins Church in Zaporizhzhia
August 10, 2023, Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine: The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is ruined after a Russian missile attack that took place Wednesday evening, August 9, Zaporizhzhia, southeastern Ukraine. The strike killed three people and left nine injured, including an 11-month-old child. A Russian missile killed a 43-year-old man and young women aged 19 and 21. In addition, an outbuilding caught fire and the shockwave knocked out windows in nearby residential buildings, shops, and other civilian infrastructure. Bullfighting 2023: Malaga August Fair: Matador Miranda Injured
August 12, 2023, Malaga, Spain: BULLET DODGED: The matador DAVID DE MIRANDA, 29, is lifted by the bull during his first fight at the Malaga August Fair in the 'La Malagueta' square. Latter fight did not turn out so well. The right-hander was overturned by the third bull match by a strong Pallarés bull. He remained in the ring until he finished off the bull, and then entered the infirmary on his own foot. The man from Huelva tried to go out and kill the fifth bull, under the refusal of the doctors. Finally, the difficulty to support the leg, prevented him from continuing the fight. The star bullfighter from Huelva has undergone surgery in the infirmary of the Malaga bullring, Dr. Díaz reported on his injury, 'a blunt wound of about 8 centimeters on the back of the upper third of the left thigh and another of 5 centimeters on the posterior face of the right buttock without internal involvement. Dissection of subcutaneous tissue and an opening of the fascia of about 20 centimeters with an upward and inward path that reaches the ischium bone relief is observed. Contusion at the level of the semimembranosus and semitendiosus muscles with dislaceration of the semimembranosus fibers. Prognosis: Serious'.
